The artifacts in Beacons in Motion are chosen not only as individual images, but as a collection — connected by theme, movement, atmosphere, and historical presence.

Command of the Air

The artifacts in Command of the Air trace aviation’s shift from early engineering spectacle to commercial reach and military presence — images defined by scale, altitude, structure, and ambition.

Each artifact is float-mounted using archival T-hinges and framed to preserve the integrity of the original printed work while giving it a refined, contemporary presentation.

This first release explores movement, industry, travel, signal, and place — images that still carry the energy of the era they came from.
