Studio

John Anthony Studios is an independent curatorial studio dedicated to the preservation, framing, and presentation of original historical printed materials.

The studio focuses on early National Geographic imagery and other period publications of historical significance, primarily from the 1920s through the 1950s.

Each work is selected for its composition, subject matter, age, material integrity, and ability to carry long-term visual presence.

Framing is completed in-studio and treated as part of the curatorial process. Works are prepared using archival-minded methods, including T-hinged float mounting, museum-grade cotton matting, spacers, and protective glass where appropriate.

All works are singular and unrepeated. No editions are produced, and no works are reproduced or reissued.
